Our Location

We are situated in the west end on a six-acre, wooded campus adjacent to the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway and conveniently close to the Trans Canada Trail / Ottawa River Pathway bike path, bus routes, the Transitway, and the community of Westboro.

Our campus includes the Meditation Garden, the Ajashki Garden Project, and a children's play area with a climbing structure. We share our grounds with Unitarian House and River Parkway Children's Centre. In 2020, we began the process of adding affordable housing to our campus. Download "Affordable Housing Development 101" and visit our Affordable Housing page to learn more about this process.

Constructed in 1967, our beautiful building of red cedar and concrete, is memorable for its soaring spire and the beauty of its interior design.  Its architect, James B. Craig, won a second place in an annual city design contest run by the Ottawa chapter of the Ontario Association of Architects.

The Meditation Gardens

Our carefully-tended gardens are an Ontario Communities in Bloom award-winner. With walkways and a pond, they are a perfect spot for photographs, or an outdoor wedding.  Join us on facebook:  http://tinyurl.com/MedGardens

"We acknowledge that our campus is located on traditional, unsurrendered and unceded Algonquin Anishinabeg Territory;
and that the work of reconciliation is a responsibility of our congregation, and of all Canadians.  "Our goal is to educate ourselves and all
who have ears to hear, to be of service to those who are at risk, and to advocate for justice.
