What is OWL Summer Camp 10-11?
OWL Summer Camp 10-11 is part of the "Our Whole Lives" sexuality education program offered by Unitarian Universalists.  It's an 10-day program for kids age 10-11 that can help you educate your child about bodies, gender, boundaries, families, conception, birth, and babies. You will be actively involved as your child learns through songs, stories, activities, and at-home projects that promote family dialogue.

We meet every day at FirstU for typical summer camp activities plus workshops that cover age-appropriate topics like:
  • Learning about our bodies
  • Different family configurations
  • How babies begin
  • Body Boundaries
Tell Me More:
  • Location: 30 Cleary Avenue (First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa)
  • Dates:
  • Registration fee: $75 (subsidy available upon request)
  • Parent Orientation:
  • OWL is a secular curriculum, appropriate in a variety of settings

"We acknowledge that our campus is located on traditional, unsurrendered and unceded Algonquin Anishinabeg Territory;
and that the work of reconciliation is a responsibility of our congregation, and of all Canadians.  "Our goal is to educate ourselves and all
who have ears to hear, to be of service to those who are at risk, and to advocate for justice.
