Volunteer for the Fall Fair:  it's lots of fun!

Picture
It takes many people to organize and run an event as large as FirstU’s Fall Fair. There are varied jobs that need to be filled leading up to the Fair on all days from November 11 to 15, on the BIG DAY itself on November 16, and for post sales and cleanup on November 17 and 18.
Areas of work can include:
  • Bargain Haven (flea market and bargain clothes)
  • Books
  • Outdoor goods
  • Clothing (Casual, Boutique, Menswear)
  • Finance
  • Finer Goods (Timeless Treasures, Gift Shop, Silent Auction)
  • Bistro (Lunch Room)
  • Site Management (furniture setup, parking, takedown)
  • Site Services (storage, disposal, recycling, supplies)
Our Volunteer Coordinator, Anne Nagy, can advise you on what jobs are available to make sure you get the assignment that interests you. You can reach her via email at FFVols@FirstUnitarianOttawa.ca
URGENT VOLUNTEER NEEDS!
The Book Room needs volunteers to help pack left over books into boxes at 12:00 on Sunday, November 17. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator via email at FFVols@FirstUnitarianOttawa.ca if you are able to help.
