VOLUNTEERING IS AT THE HEART OF FALL FAIR

AND WE WANT YOU TO GET IN ON IT!

These are areas where we still need volunteers to help make this year’s Fall Fair a huge success:

Fall Fair is coming up on Saturday, November 16!
As usual, our volunteers will take over the church the week before our big event, transforming our 16,000 square foot church into a huge mixed market!

Our volunteers have fun and work together to a common cause: FirstU's biggest annual fundraiser!
It takes many people to organize and run an event as large as FirstU’s Fall Fair.

We need lots of volunteers and, we promise, there's a job for YOU.

Volunteer Opportunities include:
  • Donation intake
  • Sorting of goods
  • Set-up of sales spaces
  • Supplies, recycling and other site services
  • Communications, including posters and handouts
  • Photography before and during the sale
  • Selling and other tasks on Fall Fair day
  • Outdoor roles, including parking and sales
  • Baking and food sales
  • Take down and cleanup
  • Dispersal of unsold goods

We appreciate all volunteer contributions, large and small!

We’re waiting to hear from you at: fallfair@firstunitarianottawa.ca!

"We acknowledge that our campus is located on traditional, unsurrendered and unceded Algonquin Anishinabeg Territory;
and that the work of reconciliation is a responsibility of our congregation, and of all Canadians.  "Our goal is to educate ourselves and all
who have ears to hear, to be of service to those who are at risk, and to advocate for justice.
