Spiritual and Personal growth

Women's Pagan Circle
Our trans-inclusive, loosely "Eclectic-Dianic" Circle meets every 6 weeks (except for August) to celebrate the Sabbats together. Our space centers around women’s experiences with spirituality. We meet on week nights but vary them to accommodate people’s schedules. Trans women, cis women, and nonbinary folks who feel at home in “women’s space” are all encouraged to attend!
Bring finger foods to share after the ritual and anything seasonal you'd like to include on our altar. We also ask that folks contribute $5 to help cover the cost of space and supplies.

We gather at 7:00pm and start our rituals around 7:30pm, typically in Fellowship Hall. Participation is by donation ($5 suggested). Contact Laurie at
lauren.fosterm[at]gmail.com
with any questions and to find out the date of our next Ritual.

Our next rituals will be on the following dates:
Our Circle takes a break between Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox so that people can attend Shield and Bow, Kaleidoscope Gathering, and other summertime Pagan gatherings within an hour or two of Ottawa. We'll return in September for our Mabon ritual. While our Ritual dates are subject to change, please save the following in your calendar if you'd like to join us as we go 'round the Wheel again:
Wednesday, September 24, 2025; Wednesday, October 29, 2025; Monday, December 22, 2025; AND Monday, February 2, 2026; Wednesday, March 25, 2026;
Wednesday, April 29, 2026; AND Wednesday, June 24, 2026.

Enriching Our Minds and souls

The Mess We Are In - Political Reading Group
July 3, 17, and 31 - 6:30pm
Room 3

Explore the decades-long failure of neoliberalism, the rise of right wing pseudo-populism and examine progressive political visions for how to move beyond this mess. By examining contemporary political analyses, our hope is to sharpen our own analysis and enable us to act more effectively.
July sessions (July 3rd, 17th and 31st) will focus on The Divide by Jason Hickel.
The Divide argues that global poverty—and the growing inequality between the rich countries of Europe and North America and the poor ones of Africa, Asia, and South America—has come about because the global economy has been designed over the course of five hundred years of conquest, colonialism, regime change, and globalization to favor the interests of the richest and most powerful nations.
Join us as we discuss Hickel's suggestions for real, global justice. New members welcome! Contact [email protected] to join!

Well being

Taoist Tai Chi Practice and Learning Sessions
Every Tuesday - 1:00pm - Fellowship Hall
Led by Friends of Taoist Tai Chi, Ottawa
Tai Chi is a series of gentle movements that improves circulation, strengthens the bones, and develops good balance. Many have found their health greatly improved by regular practice. Master Moy first developed Taoist Tai Chi to improve his own health, and later dedicated his life to enabling others to do the same. We welcome anyone to participate, beginners included.
Each two-hour session will be led by experienced instructors from "Friends of Tai Chi" and will include a break for tea. No advance registration needed just drop in. Some familiarity with Tai Chi is recommended. Send questions to: [email protected].

and unceded Algonquin Anishinaabeg Territory; and that the work
of reconciliation is a responsibility of our congregation, and of all Canadians.
