2017, First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa will mark the 50th anniversary of our award-winning building on Cleary Avenue. We have many accomplishments to celebrate. Everyone is invited to join the festivities so mark your calendar now and plan to attend these special events!

Open House: An Afternoon Celebrating 50 Years at Cleary Avenue
June 11, 2017 – 12:00 – 3:00 pm
The public is invited, along with members and friends, to drop in for displays, tours, activities and refreshments. The focus will be on significant contributions that the congregation has
made over the past 50 years.


Greatest Hits: A Choir Concert Celebrating 50 Years at Cleary
May 6, 2017 – 7:00 pm, Worship Hall
Come and enjoy our three choirs as they sing some of our most popular repertoire.  Admission by donation.

Multisensory 50th Anniversary Service
April 23, 2017 – 10:30 am, Worship Hall

50th Anniversary Celebratory Dinner
April 22, 2017 – 5:30 pm, Fellowship Hall
There will be limited seating for this multi-generational potluck dinner so reservations will be required. RSVP to Kathy Yach, cityviewky@rogers.com.

A Steinway Celebration
March 4, 2017 – 7:30 pm, Worship Hall
This professional level concert includes four emerging pianists from the area,
performing on the 10th anniversary of the purchase of our Steinway grand piano.
Admission by donation.

An Evening with Tony Turner
February 10, 2017 – 7:30 pm, Worship Hall
This kick-off anniversary event will feature Tony and two of his musician friends playing selections from his three critically acclaimed CDs as well as a few surprises. Tony is an award-winning singer/songwriter, with songs that channel the ties that bind and also the spirit of the times. Admission by suggested donation of $5.00.
