The First Unitarian Congregation of Ottawa and its groups use a variety of publications, generally free of charge, to provide information to members and users of our church. For more information about our publications, contact our Publications Officer.

General News and Events

The Parkway Spire: provides members with information about congregational events and news. This newsletter is published monthly except for July and August.

e-UUOttawa: sent online to subscribers with information about congregational events and news. This bulletin is published weekly except for July and the first two weeks of August.

Sunday Communiqué: an insert into the weekly Order of Service with information about the coming week’s congregational events.  Published weekly.

Organizational Information

Annual Report: provides information on the activities of the committees of the congregation.

Getting Connected: an annual brochure that provides descriptions of the committees and groups in the congregation along with contact names and phone numbers or e-mails. Getting Connected Brochure, August, 2011.

Lifespan Learning: a seasonal booklet that provides information about all congregational events that involve learning. This booklet is posted at Learn, Grow, Enjoy.

Religious Exploration: an annual booklet that provides information about children and youth programs and a schedule of events. This booklet is posted at Child and Youth Programs.

Telephone Directory: a list of members with addresses and phone numbers. 

Volunteer Operations Handbook: provides an overview of Unitarianism, our congregation and staff, the building, and opportunities for volunteering or creating a group within the congregation. For more information, please check the brochure.

Wedding Ceremony Booklet: provides information to couples wishing to be married in the Unitarian Church and craft their service. The booklet can help you create your perfect ceremony.

Writing Your Own Child Dedication: provides information and suggestions for parents who wish to have a child naming/parent dedication service in the Unitarian Church.
