Campus Planning Workshop

The second workshop of the Campus Planning consultations on the future development of the 30 Cleary campus will take place this Sunday, January 15 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. To participate in this workshop it is helpful, but not necessary to have participated in the first workshop, held on December 4, 2011 – but it is important to read in advance the attached documents. Two of these documents cover background that was given at the December workshop to help everyone understand the context in which this planning is being done. The "Record of Campus Planning Consultation, December 2011" contains the notes from the December workshop, including draft Campus Project Selection Criteria. These draft Criteria, brainstormed but not refined at the last workshop, will be used in the first portion of the workshop this Sunday to arrive at more refined criteria. The remaining document attached here is a draft refinement of the draft Criteria from December and will be used this Sunday to assist but not restrict discussion intended to produce more refined Campus Project Selection Criteria.
This Sunday, after refining the Criteria, the workshop will focus on proposals for the future use of campus land / future campus development projects. Any person or group wishing to make a presentation on such a proposal is asked to contact janelindsay@sympatico.ca by Friday afternoon to indicate this intention and name the proposal. Please note that for this Sunday's workshop, each presentation will be limited to 10 minutes, with additional time to be used for questions, answers and initial reactions to the presentation. It is anticipated that more in-depth discussion of proposals, using the refined Campus Project Selection Criteria, will take place in a third Campus Planning workshop, at a date to be determined.
