Adult Programs: Body and Spirit

Congregants attend our Body and Spirit programs for many reasons. Some find that an activity can lead to better health and spiritual growth. Some meet to discuss issues of the body for information and support. Others just want to have fun in a convivial setting!

ONE-TIME EVENTS

EXPLORING GENDER AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION

Based on the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Young Adult Our
Whole Lives (OWL) curriculum. For details, go to Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education.


ADULT OWL

Learn to talk more easily about sexuality, to be up to date and informed, and to learn more about yourself and relationships.

You can take part in a free sample session and/or the workshop. For details go to Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education.

ONGOING GROUPS

Newcomers welcome. No registration required.

EMPOWER DANCE (weekly)

When: Wednesdays, 7:30–9:00 p.m.
Where: Fellowship Hall

Dance, stretch, move and meditate to all kinds of music. Suggested gift to the congregation of $3/evening.


YOGA FOR SENIORS AND EVERYONE ELSE (weekly)

When: Fridays, 10:15–11:15 a.m., Sept. 10-Dec. 17 (no class on Nov. 12)
Where:
Fellowship Hall

Led by Linda Percy, this program is designed to Improve your flexibility in a relaxed setting. Cost: $135 for 14 weeks or $10 drop-in.

FIBROMYALGIA SUPPORT GROUP (monthly)
