Nepali Gala

Mark your calendars and save Saturday, May 5 for the 6th Annual Nepali Gala.  This event is a fundraiser brought to you by the Canada-Nepal working group.  Enjoy a feast of delicious Nepali food, with Sales Tables, a Silent Auction, Music and a Dance Show that will set your toes tapping.
This event is a fundraiser to benefit The Women’s Foundation of Nepal, founded in 1988 in Nepal by a group of concerned women, including our own Tara Upreti when she was still in college there.
As this fundraising event is by donation, please be sure to bring a cheque or cash for your Donation, for the Sale of Scarves and Shawls, and for the Silent Auction. We are not selling dinner tickets. Attendance is by reservation only.  We can accommodate groups of people to fill a table of 4, 6 or 8, and we can also accommodate individuals.
Please RSVP in early April, so we can be accurate in our numbers.  There were 120 in attendance last year, and we may fill up again. The evening was a real financial success for The Women’s Foundation of Nepal, and everyone had a wonderful time.
